January 2 is St. Distaff day (this is the day spinners traditionally went back to work after the Christmas/ winter holidays)
February 4 is national sweater day
March is national crochet month
June 12 (or 2nd Saturday of the month) is world wide knit in public day
September 12 is national crochet day
October 10 (or 2nd Sunday of the month) is I love yarn day
November is national knit month and national knit a sweater in a month
December 17 (or 3rd Friday of the month) is national ugly sweater day
Wow, I didn’t realize there were special days like these. I’ve done knitting and crocheting, but my hands won’t let me do it any more.
ReplyDeleteSorry it's been more than a year before replying. It's been terrible. Yes there are special days for many of our spectacular hobbies. I'm sorry you can't do knitting and crocheting conventionally. Have you considered a knitting loom? Knitting machine? These might be more helpful to you.
